Jeff joined the KB Elliott team in October 2014 after 12 years at First Midwest Securities, Inc., where he was a Senior Vice President of Investments. Jeff began his career as a financial advisor with Robert W. Baird & Co. in 1997. He studied Industrial Engineering and Broadcasting Communications at Bradley University, earning a Bachelor of Science in 1994 after completing two years of a Congressional Appointment to the United States Military Academy in West Point, NY. Jeff has his series 7 (General Securities) , 63 (Uniform Securities Agent State Law), and 65 (Uniform Investment Adviser Law) FINRA registrations, and is licensed to do life insurance and annuity business in IL, IN, FL, GA, NY, and MI. Jeff is a a Registered Representative with Kestra Investment Services, LLC and an Investment Advisor Representative with Kestra Advisory Services, LLC.
Jeff believes in giving back to the community. He is a past President and current board member of both the Kiwanis Club of Peoria Downtown and the Independent Sports Club of Central Illinois, whose primary function is raising funds for area youth sports organizations. Jeff also serves as chairman of the “CASA Par 3 Challenge with $1 Million Hole-In-One Shootout,” an annual golf event he helped create in 2011 to benefit CASA of Peoria County. He is an active member of the St. Philomena Church Men’s Club in Peoria.
Jeff played baseball at West Point and Bradley University, and holds a third degree black belt in taekwondo from the Universal Taekwondo Association.
Jeff resides in East Peoria with his wife Julie DiBernardino-Doeden and their daughter Giada. His family loves animals, with two dogs, three turtles, and a koi pond full of fish. In his spare time, Jeff enjoys golfing, swimming, playing the piano, and trying to keep up with Giada’s activities.
